Kids Dance Classes

We invite you to the beautiful world of music and dance. Calgary Stars Dance Studio specializes in all styles of Ballroom, Latin and Country Dances. These dances include Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive, Salsa, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Two Step and Double Shuffle. We specializes in competitive dancing training, competitions and showcases. Children will be taught the technical aspects of Ballroom and Latin dancing and will also be trained physically through strength and endurance exercises. Private Lessons are the most efficient way to prepare for dance competition, going dancing socially, attending special events. We recommend private lessons for students who require more individual attention and students who are looking to compete in ballroom dancing. We are committed to helping our students develop both as dancers and people. We lead them to find their owns styles and ultimately reach their full potential. Dancing is a fun way to get much needed physical activity, but ballroom dancing has also been proven to promote manners, good posture, social skills, and to boost confidence in children.
